They now say the incident, which happened in the early hours of Sunday March 13, is being investigated as an alleged assault.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Amy Jeffrey, said: "We previously issued an appeal soon after the incident and are now able to release a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries.

"While the image is slightly blurred we are hoping somebody recognises him and contacts our appeal line."

The incident was discussed during a review into the club's licence yesterday.
