Director of football Steve Binks said Chatham Town are a joy to watch this season.

Chats take on Ryman League Division 1 North new boys Wroxham at Maidstone Road on Saturday looking to build on a solid return of seven points from four games.

It will be their first league match in three weeks following FA Cup and FA Trophy commitments.

Binks (pictured) said: "We’re looking forward to getting back to league action.

"We’re playing attractive football that’s a joy to watch and all credit must go to manager Kevin Watson and his assistant Keith Levett."

Binks, however, warned that Saturday’s opponents would be tough. He said: "Wroxham are newly-promoted and it’s their first time at this level. Teams like that always start the season on a high so we’re expecting a tough game.

"I’m sure it will be close but we produced one of our best team performances of the season at Herne Bay in the FA Trophy last week. If we pick up where we left off, I’m confident we can get three points."

Defender Kes Metitri (Achilles) and frontman Rodridgue N’Diane (knee) went off injured at Herne Bay but Binks is hopeful they will be fit.
