Chatham panto producers looking for Snow White star

The search has begun for someone to take the title role of Snow White in this year’s festive show at The Central Theatre, Chatham.

Producers Evolution Pantomimes have decided that the role should go to a local actress and auditions are being organised to find the right person.

The winner will perform alongside Sam Attwater, who plays the Prince. Sam played Leon Small in EastEnders and its spin-off E20 in 2010 and won ITV’s Dancing on Ice in 2011.

Also in the cast is ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, a finalist in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, who will appear as Herman the Henchman with his puppets Arthur Lager and Simon Cowell.

Producer Paul Hendy said: “The Central Theatre has a reputation for top quality pantos and we’re delighted to offer this exciting professional opportunity to a local person.”
