The M2 coastbound has been reopened after a crash.

Police were called at 8.03am and traffic had started to queue on the Medway bridge between J2 for the A228, Cuxton, and J3 A229 for Chatham.

One vehicle was involved in the incident.

A police spokesman said: "It happened between junctions 2 and 3 and the two outside lanes were briefly closed to remove debris.

"The motorway fully re-opened at 8.35am and there are no reports of any serious injuries."
