Police appealed to find the driver after the crash in Otterham Quay Lane left the biker dead.

Detectives wanted to speak to the person driving a dark SUV-type vehicle which was in front of the bike before the collision at 2.57pm on November 19.

The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old man from Lambeth, south London, died at the scene.

Police and medics from both the ambulance service and air ambulance attended but were unable to revive him.

As a result of the appeal, the driver has now spoken to investigators.

Several other witnesses have also been spoken to as part of the investigation and inquiries remain ongoing, a police spokesman said.
