A woman in her 50s was reportedly walking in a secluded nature reserve near Motney Hill Road, at about 8.30am on Thursday, when she heard someone running behind her.

As she stepped to one side a man grabbed her, she fell to the ground, and the man left the area.

He is described as a white man, aged between 40 and 50, of medium build, 5ft9ins tall, had stubble and was wearing a grey hoodie.

DC Karen Caulfield said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and local policing officers will continue to carry out regular patrols in the area. I would encourage anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and might have information to contact the police, as well as anyone who recognises the efit image."

The small car park on Motney Hill Road is listed on a swinging website as a good spot for "daytime fun".

Anyone who has information about the incident or recognises the efit image is asked to contact DC Karen Caulfield at Kent Police by calling 01634 792434 and quoting crime reference XY/35843/14.
