Firefighters called to flooded houseboat in Hoo

Local people rallied round to help a flooded houseboat in Hoo this morning.

Firefighters were called at 1.30am, but when they arrived neighbours had used marine pumps to get rid of the water at low tide.

Crews were also called to a three-storey building in Chatham, yesterday evening.
