Fourteen of Medway's historic buildings are on a national register because they are at risk of permanent damage or complete collapse.
The list, compiled by English Heritage, include the Cooling Castle home of Jools Holland, four historic forts and No.1 Smithery at Chatham's Historic Dockyard.
Other locations include the Artillery Tower on Grain, Priors Gate, Rochester and a barn on the outskirts of Strood.
