The star of ABC's sitcom Black-ish was seen watching the game alongside fans as he filmed scenes for his new E! reality TV show.

The 52-year-old is travelling across Europe with his mum Doris Hancox for the series – Anthony Anderson and Mom: European Vacation.

The show follows the pair as they embark on a six-week long road trip across the continent in a similar format to Netflix's Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father.

Anthony and Doris are a well-known double act in America as they co-host revived game show To Tell The Truth and comedy series House Haunters where they take over properties and attempt to scare new buyers.

The travel series was given the green-light earlier this year with the mother-and-son-duo jetting across the seas this month.

The description reads: "Multiple Emmy nominee Anthony Anderson owes his Mama Doris a lot. She gave up her own dreams of being an actress to raise him.

"As a token of his appreciation, he is treating his Mom to a trip of a lifetime – a six-week tour around Europe, to discover some of the continent’s wonders and experience a real, cultural vacation.

"However, spending this amount of quality time will be a real test for their relationship as the pair disagree on just about everything."

Produced by Avalon, the show promises to deliver "chaos, comedy and lots of emotion" as they navigate both Europe and their relationship.

In one of their first stops, the Law and Order and Big Momma's House actor visited Priestfield Stadium in Redfern Avenue.

He watched the game from the Lower Medway stand, chatted to Gills fans and paid a visit to the boardroom.

Film crews then descended on the pitch at half-time as Anthony and mum Doris had a penalty shoot-out competition with the team's mascots in goal.

The Gills then had their own penalties after drawing 1-1 against the Essex side and saw the squad secure a 5-4 win.

Anthony Anderson and Mom: European Vacation is expected to air in America in 2023.
