Teenager Declan Furlong, 18, charged after footage showing someone shooting a gun at a car in Gillingham, was posted online

A homeless teenager has been charged after footage showing someone shooting a gun at a car window was posted on Facebook.

Declan Furlong, 18, was arrested on Tuesday, January 19, in connection with the incident in Napier Road, Gillingham, on January 7.

The footage has been viewed more than 36,000 times online.

Car owner, Tori Cobbold, 40, who owns a salon, Beauty at Tori’s on Livingstone Circus, parks her vehicle outside her husband’s shop, Woodland Magick in Napier Road.

The footage showing the incident was recorded from his CCTV camera.

Furlong, of no fixed address has been charged with two counts of criminal damage.

The other charge relates to an incident in Citadel Court, in Rochester on February 27, when a lounge window was allegedly damaged.

Furlong has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 11.
