Health and Safety officers are to investigate why a car fell off a hydraulic ramp at a repairs garage in Chatham, on Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were called out to the Big M Auto Safety Centre, in The Brook at about 2.30pm after the vehicle which was elevated on the ramp, somehow toppled off and crashed to the floor.

It is not thought anyone was injured during the incident, and firefighters who arrived at the scene made sure the area was safe by disconnecting the battery on the vehicle.
