Invicta Dynamos achieved one of their best victories of the season with a 4-1 home win over Romford Raiders on Sunday.
The Raiders, lying in second place in ENIHL Division 1 South, had already beaten Dynamos twice in the current campaign, scoring 16 goals in the process, but Invicta exacted sweet revenge this time.
They took the lead after eight minutes through captain Andy Smith (pictured) and Canadian Ryan Ellis doubled Dynamos' advantage in the second period.
Indiscipline then began to cost the Raiders as both Andrius Kaminskas and JJ McGrath picked up misconduct penalties, but the visitors opened their account in early in the final period through AJ Smith.
However, any comeback hopes were dashed 12 minutes from time when Dynamos blue liner Alastair Band scored his first goal for the club, and in the closing moments Andy Smith broke clear to make it 4-1 and so complete what was only the Raiders' second defeat of the season.
