London Air Ambulance called to incident in Chatham

The London Air Ambulance trauma team was called to an incident in Kent this morning.

The aircraft was seen near Coney Banks, Chatham, at around 10.30am.

A spokesman for the service confirmed a trauma team was dispatched to cover the Kent air ambulance who were engaged elsewhere.

It is thought Kent air ambulance was dealing with an incident in Sittingbourne, near Milton Regis Country park.

A spokesman for Kent air ambulance said: "A helicopter from Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) attended a patient in Sittingbourne today.

"Our crew arrived on scene at 9.40am where they worked with SECAmb to help treat the patient who was taken to a major trauma centre by air.”
