A rush-hour crash involving a van has been causing delays on the M2.

The exit slip road for Junction 2 near Strood has been closed off, leading to queues on the coastbound motorway.

The accident, involving one vehicle, took place just before 4.30pm.

The slip road, near the turn-off for the A228, has been coned off by Highways England.

Police are on their way to the scene.
