Suspected Chatham drug dealer, 19, charged with offences

Two charges have been authorised against a man who is alleged to be involved in supplying heroin and crack cocaine.

Tyrese Johnson, from Chatham, was detained by officers in Kent Police's County Line and Gang Team on Wednesday morning following an investigation.

The 19-year-old, of Churchill Avenue, was later charged with conspiring to supply both Class A substances between June and September 2020.

He was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.

At the hearing he was bailed to attend Maidstone Crown Court on December 23.
