Rochester man charged with exposure and sexual assault

A man has been charged with sexual assault and multiple indecent exposures involving women and a teenage girl.

Between March 26 and April 21 last year, police received allegations of a number of offences in Rochester.

A man was reported to have committed offences against women at locations in the vicinity of Delce Road and Jackson’s Field, which also included touching one of the victims inappropriately.

A suspect was arrested and bailed pending further investigation.

Officers were once again called about an incident near Kibbles Lane, Tunbridge Wells, where a teenage girl reported a man had exposed himself and carried out an indecent act on May 2 this year.

Evgeni Nachev, previously of Ross Street, Rochester was arrested later that day.

The 36-year-old was charged with three counts of exposure and a sexual assault and remanded in custody by Medway Magistrates’ Court on May 4.

His next court hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on June 1.
