Gillingham: Police tape off part of Canterbury Street close to KFC

A man suffered a leg injury after being stabbed close to a KFC.

Police cordoned off part of Canterbury Street, Gillingham, following the incident.

Officers were called just after 5.45pm and joined ambulance crews at the scene.

The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further medical attention.

A police spokesman said there have been no arrests so far.

Officers are making further inquiries.
