It was the weekend the Towns turned red, white and blue for a right royal knees up.

Across Medway communities came together to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with dozens of street parties from Rainham to the Hoo Peninsula.

There were wacky costumes, high spirits and plenty of cake and bunting.
