Redrow plans to build 88 homes at Blowers Wood, Hoath Way, near Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre

A planning application to build homes close to a woodland is being worked up by a housing developer.

Redrow is seeking feedback on its plans to build 88 homes off Hoath Way, Hempstead – just off Junction 4 of the M2.

The company is looking to build on land by Blowers Wood, which is close to Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.

Under the plans, there would be a mix of homes between two and five bedrooms, a quarter of which would be affordable.

The site would be accessed from Maidstone Road and there would also be a play area and a buffer between the site and Blowers Wood.

The consultation website says the developer is preparing an application for submission by the end of the year.
