The one and two-bedroom flats would be across five blocks and include 140 parking spaces and a children's play area.

According to reports submitted to Medway Council, the site used to host Rochester and Strood Family Centre, Strood Day Opportunities Centre, and the Greatfield Lodge Residential Hostel.

Redevelopment of part of the site was completed in 2019, with the construction of 24 flats.

A plan for 106 flats on the same land was put forward in 2020 but later withdrawn on the advice of planning officers.

The plans are due to be considered by October.
