Parked cars damaged in Thorold Road and Seymour Road, Chatham

Officers are looking for more information after several parked vehicles near a hospital were broken into and damaged.

Car windows were smashed and one victim reported seeing a man inside her vehicle before he made off.

Police received reports six vehicles were damaged between 10.30pm and midnight on Sunday in Thorold Road and Seymour Road in Chatham, near Medway Maritime Hospital.

Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference.

He has since been bailed until July 15 while inquiries continue.
