People living in Hoo have been advised to keep their doors and windows closed while a blaze is tackled.

The fire service is dealing with a barn alight in Main Road.

Four fire engines and a water carrier vehicle are at the scene.

A spokesman advised residents nearby to close doors and and windows because of smoke in the area.

The call came in just before 9pm.
