Man stabbed in leg in Skinner Street Gillingham discharged from hospital

A man who was stabbed in the leg has been discharged from hospital.

The attack happened in Skinner Street, Gillingham at 3.45pm yesterday.

Police received reports that a man had been assaulted, and officers and paramedics treated the man in the street before he was taken to hospital.

The police cordoned off part of the road opposite King's Church by the flats entrance and The Scruffy Duck pub.

Though the man was is in hospital, police say his injuries are not life threatening.
No arrests have been made.

Inquiries are ongoing.
