This come two weeks after cash was stolen from a similar ATM outside Rainham station.

Police were called to the railway station on Boxing Day at 9am, but appealed for information about suspicious activity in the area between 5am and 5:30am.

It was the second time the machine had been broken into, with the ATM ram raided and broken into a first time during May 2015.

Officers are treating the two incidents as linked.

Anyone with any information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 citing reference 35 of 09/01.
