Three people arrested for alleged burglaries in Hoo, Allhallows, High Halstow, Istead Rise and Maidstone,

Three people have been arrested in connection with alleged burglaries in Medway and Gravesend this year.

Detectives investigating a number of reported burglaries in Hoo, Allhallows, High Halstow and Istead Rise, as well as one in Maidstone, searched properties in London on Thursday June 11.

Detective Constable Ian Mather, of Kent Police’s Criminal Investigation Department, said: “This action was taken as part of enquiries into burglaries reported in Medway and Gravesend.

"This remains an ongoing investigation and we will continue with our enquiries to build a case of evidence.”

A 20-year-old woman, from Abbey Wood, a 23-year-old man, from Erith, and a 32-year-old man, from Bexleyheath, have been bailed until July 27 pending further enquiries. The 23-year-old man has been recalled to prison for breaching the terms of his licence.

The arrests were made in connection with investigations being led by Kent Police’s Criminal Investigation Department.

The team is made up of specialist officers who target burglary and theft offences across Medway, Gravesham, Dartford and Swale.
