Three charged with robbery in Britton Street, Gillingham

Three men have been charged after a group reportedly barged into a house and demanded money.

The alleged robbery happened in Britton Street, Gillingham between 10pm and 10.33pm last Tuesday.

The trio are said to have forced their way inside, before demanding cash from four men. Two of the victims were allegedly assaulted.

David Howarth, 43, of Britton Street, Gillingham, has been charged with two counts of robbery.

Nicholas Noble, 36, of High Street, Chatham, and Dean Lacey, 43, of High Street, Gillingham, have been charged with one count of robbery.

Lacey has also been charged with one count of burglary in relation to an incident at a commercial building in Gillingham High Street at 8am on Tuesday, November 1.

The men have been remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday, December 15.
