After arriving in the first pub, he was said to have been immediately offensive to one of the employees and when asked to leave and be escorted from the premises, assaulted a customer who was assisting the bar staff.

He then went into a second pub on the high street where he was abusive to one of the staff members and threatened her.

When she picked up a phone to call the police he knocked it out of her hand before leaving.

When police arrived the man became violent whilst being arrested and assaulted the two female constables while trying to bite them.

Mack-Hudson, of Elizabeth Street, Greenhithe was later charged with two assaults, two assaults on emergency workers and a public order offence.

The 27-year-old pleaded guilty at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (Feb 15) and was immediately jailed for 18 weeks.

Police Sergeant Paul Relf said: “This type of obnoxious behaviour demands a robust response from the local police patrols.

“Hospitality staff should not have to suffer abuse and violence and I am pleased Mack-Hudson has been sent straight to jail.

“He will also be subject to an exclusion order from both public houses and will have to seek his refreshment elsewhere when he is eventually released.”
