A Freedom of Information request revealed 37,988 tickets have been purchased to date, with 432 tickets purchased in the first week.

Tickets cost £1, of which 60% goes directly to charities.

The lottery has so far raised £22,792.80 for its 58 beneficiaries.

These include Home Start Medway, Medway Street Angels, Abigail's Footsteps, Club AUsome, and some of Medway's schools.

Players of the lottery can win a £25,000 jackpot if all six numbers in the draw sequence are matched. Two matching numbers can get you free three extra tickets.

So far, the lottery has given away £3,750 in prize money and the extra tickets have been awarded 825 times.
