Historic Dockyard in Chatham offers tours of Call the Midwife set

Fans of the popular BBC drama series Call the Midwife will be able to visit the set of the popular show.

Next year, starting on March 1, the Historic Dockyard in Chatham will be offering visitors the chance to take a tour around where the TV series is filmed.

The tour, created in collaboration with Neal Street Productions, offers fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the filming locations and a chance to see the original sets, costumes, props, and artifacts from the show.

Guests can walk in the footsteps of Sister Julienne, Nurse Trixie Franklin, Chummy, and Dr Turner and visit the renowned Grosvenor Hotel and Chummy’s Hill. where Nurse Noakes famously learned to ride her bike.

Tickets can be booked here and cost £35 for adults and £27 for children. The tour will stay until October 31.

The dockyard already hosted a similar event from March to October this year that proved very popular.

Meanwhile, the drama returns with a Christmas special on Christmas Day and a new series starting on Sunday, January 7.
