Rochester woman charged with attempted murder after man stabbed in High Street

A second person has been charged with attempted murder after a town centre stabbing.

Officers were called to Rochester High Street property at around 9pm last Thursday after a man was found with stab wounds.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with his injuries but has since been discharged.

Daniel Baker, 29, of the same road, was originally charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife.

Now, Maisey Barrett, also of High Street, Rochester, was charged with the same offences.

The 27-year-old was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today.

Barrett and Baker, who was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on December 4, were both known to the victim.
