Woman hurt in house fire in James Street, Gillingham.

A woman suffered from burns and was treated for breathing smoke during a fire at a house in Gillingham.

Firefighters were called to the terraced property in James Street at 3.30pm and found the first floor and roof alight.

A woman was already out of the property and crews wearing breathing apparatus went in with a hose jet to tackle and put out the flames.
