Scott Porter is the new manager at Hollands & Blair.
Porter replaces Simon Halsey, who left the club last week, and goes straight into the dugout for Saturday's Southern Counties East League Premier Division game away to Deal.
The former Hythe and Whitstable boss was most recently in charge of Kent County League Hawkinge, who he left in October.
During his time with the Cannons he led them to promotion from the Kent League, lifted the Kent Senior Trophy and reached the FA Cup first round. He will hope to make an immediate impact, with Blair 15th in the table having won just four games in 16 matches.
Porter's arrival ends chairman Paul Piggott's temporary role at the helm. Piggott took charge for last weekend's 4-2 defeat at Crowborough and suggested earlier this week a new appointment could be imminent.
“We got half a dozen people come in within 24 hours of the change and even more so now," he said.
“It is good for us as a club when you see the type of people interested. We are not one of the most fashionable but we are established at this level and it is nice that you have these opportunities.
“I don’t mind stepping in but it is not a long-term thing for me and I don’t think it is good for the players. There are some vultures out there.
“We want to get our business sorted sooner rather than later for sure.”
