Gillingham will hope winger Jordan Graham is fit for midweek League 1 trip to Bristol Rovers

Gillingham have injury concerns over star performer Jordan Graham ahead of their midweek trip to Bristol Rovers.

The winger was nursing an injury towards the end of Gillingham’s defeat against Exeter City in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Graham has six goals and five direct assists so far this season, with Gills’ second goal at the weekend coming from one of his crosses, and he will be assessed on Monday ahead of the trip to Bristol on Wednesday.

The former Wolves man has started every league game for the Gills so far this season and manager Steve Evans commented about his injury on Sunday.

He said: “We won’t know how Jordan is for a few days but it will be what it is.

“He, alongside many lads in our team, was poor yesterday. The lad has the highest of standards.

“He is a top player so we hope he is back sooner rather than later.”

Gillingham would miss the trickery of Graham from out wide but will have extra options in midweek with Irishman Tom O’Connor expected to be fit again after missing through injury in recent weeks.

Coventry loan midfielder Josh Eccles is also fit while Zech Medley, on loan from Arsenal, is likely to have recovered from a slight knock that kept him out at the weekend.

“All three should be available subject to training fully tomorrow and Tuesday,” said Evans.

“We have a small squad but a talented one and it’s time for a positive reaction.”
