Gillingham sign Crewe Alexandra striker and former Wycombe forward Scott Kashket

Gillingham have added a striker to their ranks with the signing of former Crewe front-man Scott Kashket.

The 26-year-old is a much-needed addition for the Gills as they are short of attacking options at present.

Kashket started out at Leyton Orient, spending a short time on loan at Welling United, and had five seasons with Wycombe Wanderers joining Crewe Alexandra for the 2021/22 campaign.

With Crewe, Kashket netted one league goal in 18 appearances and was released this summer. During his time at Wycombe he netted 22 goals in 104 games.

He is set to feature for the Gills on Saturday when they travel to Folkestone Invicta for a pre-season match.
