Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh has delved into the loan market to sign Adedeji Oshilaja from Cardiff City.

The 22-year-old centre-half has been signed from the Championship club and will remain at Priestfield until January 3, 2016.

Oshilaja played under Edinburgh when he was manager at Newport County and spent part of last season on loan at AFC Wimbledon.

He goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's friendly against Vanarama National League side Dover Athletic at Crabble (3pm).
