Round 12 of the Wigmore CC Evening 10 mile time trial series, Sheppey Way

Ryan Cottis sped to victory during Wigmore Cycling Club’s time trial series on the old Sheppey Way.

It was round 12 last Wednesday and Cottis claimed the win that he had been threatening in recent weeks.

Cottis had been knocking on the door of an outright victory in the evening TT series with second places in the two previous rounds.

The very quick Cottis sped to victory in a time of 23mins 22secs to beat Ed Everall by over a minute.

Everall completed the 10 mile course in 24.30 to give him his fifth podium place of the season, putting him in a very strong championship points standing.

Jamie Harris took the last step of the podium with 25.02, again like Everall, notching up more championship

points to move him up the leader board.

Julian Barton and Steve Harmon both achieved seasons best times of 25.17 and 26.02 respectively, finishing in

fourth and sixth positions overall.

Keith Walker tops the overall standings ahead of Everall. Harris completed the leading three riders.

Round 12: 1 Ryan Cottis 23.22, 2 Ed Everall 24.30, 3 Jamie Harris 25.02, 4 Julien Barton 25.17, 5 Matthew Bristow 25.35, 6 Steve Harman 26.05, 7 Duncan Tippins 26.29.
