Adventurers can take on Kent’s muddiest day out and raise money for charity with the KM Assault Course Challenge.

The annual adrenaline event which is organised by the KM Charity Team is now open for booking and key partners Benenden Hospital Trust are on the lookout for thrill-seekers.

Phil Golding of Benenden, said: “We are encouraging our staff and members – but more importantly the people of Kent – to take part in the KM Assault Course Challenge. It’s a tremendous, action-packed event which is perfect for team-building and family bonding, as well as testing your skill and stamina.”

He also commented on the importance of raising money for good causes. “We are urging participants to fundraise for their favourite charity, but if you are unsure of a cause to support, why not choose Benenden Charitable Trust, or Rising Mercury – two companies which are pivotal friends and supporters of the good work here at Benenden Hospital Trust,” he said.

Teams of six will conquer the many obstacles at Kent’s leading and toughest commercial course at Betteshanger Park, near Deal on Saturday, October 1. Entrants will tackle nineteen pieces of high-octane equipment including a tyre wall, water jumps and balance beams.

Individual prizes will be awarded to participants on the day such as the Biggest Fundraiser and Best Fancy Dress.

The event is open to participants aged 14 years or over.
