STAFF at Lloyds TSB Bank kicked off a charity day on a World Cup theme by dressing up in patriotic colours.

The 20 workers at the branch in Sittingbourne High Street also decorated their offices with English flags and bunting for the event when customers were asked to make donations to Breast Cancer Care.

Customer services officer Julie Dearing said many staff wore football kit or red and white outfits for the day when they collected £110.

Breast Cancer Care is the bank’s chosen national charity this year. Chocolate footballs were distributed to children and there were further collections for the rest of the week to boost the charity.
