Family fun and fundraising are front and centre for the KM Charity Walk 2017.

People of every generation are encouraged to take part on Sunday, 25 June, 2017, when the annual charity walk will see people ambling and rambling from Grade II listed Georgian mansion Mote House to Leeds Castle.

Blair Gulland, chairman of Gullands Solicitors said: “The KM Charity Walk 2017 is a really great event enjoyed by residents of all ages, who enjoy getting out for a stroll around Maidstone and the surrounding area. We hope the weather stays kind and wish everyone taking part an enjoyable day.”

The annual event is one of the county’s favourite charity walks raising more than £800k for good causes over the last two decades. Any good cause can use the event to raise funds for their organisation, even if they are not a registered charity. Individuals are equally free to choose their cause or simply come along for a fun wander through the countryside.

Participants’ sponsorship proceeds will be divided into a 70-30 split between the good cause of their choice and the children’s road safety work of the KM Charity Team respectively.

The KM Charity Walk 2017 is also supported by the Ramblers, Mote House, Simply Ice Cream, and Glosrose.
