Get in gear for the new year by securing your place at the 2017 KM Big Bike Ride.

Booking is now open for the annual challenge event which offers riders the choice of a gentle 50K countryside ride or a more challenging 100km ride via the East Kent coastal route.

The 2017 event, supported by Vattenfall, will start and finish at Betteshanger Park, Deal on Sunday, 23 April and will include electronic chip timing and a free sportive photo.

For those already signed up, now is the time to get your bike in gear for the challenge ahead. Local partners Locks of Sandwich not only designed both routes but are on hand to make sure all bikes and equipment are up to the test. Why not take your bike along to the experts in store for a maintenance check before the big day.

Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team, which stages the KM Big Bike Ride said: “Cycling is a great way to get fit and healthy and the KM Big Bike Ride has routes to cater for both the less experienced and more seasoned riders. Making sure all the elements of bike maintenance have been checked can give a rider added confidence.”

Cyclists yet to join the ride can make good use of discount code KMPRBB17 for a £5 discount.
