For the third year in a row Kreston Reeves is backing the annual KM Charity Forum, which will offer multiple workshops and one-to-one advice to good causes on Friday, October 12.

Susan Robinson, partner at the firm, will lead a session for charities on budgeting and securing sufficient funds for full cost recovery.

The session is co-hosted by Employment Law 4u who will focus on appropriate boundaries for volunteers to avoid employment law risk.

Kreston Reeves is headline partner of the forum, which attracts hundreds of delegates from across the county. The event is the KM Charity Team’s main information-sharing event of the year outlining the support available to charities, good causes, schools, and PTAs.

Event organiser Karen Brinkman, of the KM Charity Team, said: “Our partnership with Kreston Reeves is key to the success of the forum and we are delighted to welcome Susan and the team back for this year’s event.”

The forum will also stage charity workshops on grant funding and KM Charity of the Year 2019.

School representatives will glean best practice tips for initiatives in literacy, green travel, road safety, health and wellbeing, pupil voice, and PTA development.

A joint presentation by Leeds Castle and Diggerland will demonstrate how school excursions fit in the national curriculum. Delegates at the session will go into a prize draw to win a class visit for each leisure attraction.

The half-day forum is on Friday, October 12 at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel. The event is free to attend but places must be booked in advance at www.KmCharityTeam.co.uk/Booking
