Organisers are hoping quiz teams old and new will take part in the popular annual wine and wisdom style event. The aim is to raise a record charity pot to be shared between the Medway Youth Trust and road safety services for schools.

The 2015 event, which saw Big Quiz brainiacs Supernova take the top spot, broke records by boosting charity coffers by a cool £8,000.

Oluwatoyin Fayefunmi, director of Specsavers Chatham, said: “We are happy to support the charity event because it affords us the opportunity to give something back to the community in support of good causes.

“We look forward to the quiz as it will be a fun and team building time for the staff as well.”

Other key partners including Barclays bank and Shepherd Neame are supporting what is promising to be an unforgettable night for quizzers.

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “We’re going that extra mile for the 10 anniversary KM Big Quiz to create a night to remember.

“There’ll be a raffle bursting with prizes, big money to be won, a charity bar, plus a welcome drink on arrival and free meal for every quiz-goer.”

The event will be hosted by St George Hotel, Chatham on Friday, March 11, 2016. To book a team of up to eight, visit www.kmbigquiz.co.uk and use the booking discount code MED16.
