Charity supporters are being challenged to take on one of Kent’s dirtiest days out.
The KM Assault Course Challenge is back for the second year running and organisers are throwing down the gauntlet to businesses, friends and families.
Whitstable based legal eagles Fairweathers Solicitors are putting together a team and they will be raising funds for Headway East Kent Head Injury Support.
Director Nick Fairweather said: "The KM Charity Team’s events are fun and a good way for our staff to socialise and network. The KM Assault Course Challenge is just the ticket."
Organised by the KM’s charity department, the event features a 530m long course with obstacles including tyre wall, water jump, rope walk and balance beams.
Prizes will be given to the team that raises the most money for charity and the team with the best fancy dress outfits.
The biggest individual fundraiser will win £250 to spend at Bluewater shopping centre.
To book a team of up to six people, visit www.kmcharitychallenge.co.uk and use the online booking code KMAC14DL to receive a £12 discount. Participants must be 14 years or older.
Funds raised will be shared between participants’ chosen charities and the KM’s road safety work for children.
The KM Assault Course Challenge, which is sponsored by Fairweathers Solicitors and London Fancy Box, takes place at Fowlmead Country Park on Saturday, October 4.
Organisations interested in sponsoring the event and benefiting from publicity by the KM Group can contact Simon Dolby on 07989 164 752 or email sdolby@thekmgroup.co.uk.
