Diary dates for job hunters

EXPERT advice on a hugely diverse range of careers will be on offer at the KM Jobs Fair in Canterbury on September 16-17.

The event last year at the Cathedral International Study Centre proved a big success with more than 1,000 visitors.

This time there are even more exhibitors ranging from organisations like Kent Police and the Army, to banking, accountancy, healthcare, teaching and recruitment.

Whether you are looking for a complete career change or a full or part-time job, then information and expert help will be on offer.

There will be advice on opportunities for people of all ages too, from school leavers to those in their middle age.

A chat with an exhibitor could open up a new opportunity for someone who never realised it existed.

The International Study Centre is in the Cathedral Precincts and entry, via the Christchurch Gate, is free.

It is open from 10am-7pm on Thursday, September 16, and from 10am-4pm on Friday, September 17.
