Trains disrupted after lorry hits bridge

Buses replaced trains on some services from Dover Priory Station after a lorry hit a railway bridge on Wednesday.

Maintenance staff were working on the bridge

in Coombe Valley Road, Dover - which is on the main line route to London - at the time.

Buses ran between Dover Priory and Canterbury East, and between Dover Priory and Ramsgate until engineers were able to restore services.
