Range Rover hunted after hitting police car and driving off in New Romney

A Range Rover which collided with a police car before driving away is being hunted by officers.

The crash happened this afternoon at 1.25pm in Church Lane, New Romney.

No one was injured in the incident, which involved a white Evoque model.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision.

In particular, officers are keen to speak with a member of the public who was walking on a nearby footpath when the incident took place.

Investigators would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle at around the time of the incident or have dashcam footage.
