The A21 will shut in both directions this evening for three nights to allow for carriageway works at the Sevenoaks Bypass.

The closures will be in force from 8pm until 6am each night until the morning of September 27.

Kent County Council's suggested diversion for southbound traffic is to turn left from Cold Arbor Road onto Bessels Green Road and then turn left again onto Westerham Road before continuing onto Main Road.

Drivers should then turn left into Church Road, then left into Sundridge Road before taking the first exit at the roundabout onto Mill Field, before continuing onto Wheatsheaf Hill B2042.

Those heading northbound are advised to follow the same diversion but in the opposite direction.
