A woman who fell from a bridge onto the carriageway below and died has been named.

An inquest into Marta Kendle's death is due to open on Wednesday following her death on the A21 at Sevenoaks.

The incident happened near Gracious Lane Bridge at around 6.10am on February 19 forcing road closures.

The 37-year-old who was from the Sevenoaks area died at the scene.

Officers and ambulance crews attended the incident implementing road closures in both directions, between the junctions for the A25, Westerham and Morley's roundabout near Hildenborough.

The coastbound A21 reopened at around 1.35pm, followed by the Londonbound carriageway at 6pm.

The inquest opening is scheduled to take place at the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone.
