Time is running out for voluntary and charitable groups to submit their applications to Sevenoaks District Council’s Community Grant Scheme.
Grants up to £5,000 are available from the council to help organisations which provide services, activities or projects for the benefit of residents, with the focus being to those in greatest of need.
A handful of grants have already been handed out to successful applicants.
Cllr Roddy Hogarth, the council’s cabinet member for community grants, said: “Volunteers and voluntary groups improve the lives of many of the district’s most vulnerable people.
"If they have not done so already, I would urge these groups to make their applications as soon as possible.”
The deadline for applications is Friday, November 28.
