The Bull Hotel in Wrotham will appear on Four in a Bed next week

Fans of Channel 4's Four in a Bed might see some familiar locations next week.

The Bull Hotel in Wrotham will appear in the competition, which pits four hotels nationwide against one another.

Hotel director Lygia Fontanella-Deadman visited hotels in Hull, Lancashire and Weymouth.

She said: "It was just crazy, we didn't even apply.

"Channel 4 has a huge research team, they invited us on and then they try to mix it up with different hotels.

"We went to a bed and breakfast in Weymouth, an inn in Hull and a hotel in Lancashire."

Ms Fontanella-Deadman took over The Bull in 2007, and visited hotels with the Bull Lane hotel's chef, Mary Murray.

The competition starts on Monday, with hotel owners heading to The Bull on Thursday.

The winner will be revealed on Friday, in an episode filmed at Bradbourne House in East Malling.

Four in a Bed airs at 5pm every weekday on Channel 4.
